West Tisbury is a quintessential New England village with a white steeple church, grange hall and farm stands on country roads with locally grown produce. The community has a rural atmosphere that is neighborly and welcoming.

The Grange Hall is a beautiful post and beam barn that serves as West Tisbury’s activity center throughout the year. Locals gather at the hall for the weekly Farmer’s Market, the longest-running open-air market on Matha’s Vineyard. It’s also home to the Vineyard Artisans Festivals which highlights Island artists and crafters.

West Tisbury offers two lovely beaches as well as a pond for swimming and kayaking. Lambert’s Cove Beach is a local favorite with miles of beach to explore. Long Point Wildlife Refuge is a great place for a hike through the forest, paddleboarding on the water, or relaxing on the beach. Fueling up for a day on the beach is easy in West Tisbury with plenty of fine and casual dining to choose from.
